This is a spacious, beautiful and well equipped selfcatering apartment right in the centre of Edinburgh for sleep until 6 people.
The apartment is at the foot of "Calton Hill", a national monument. Within one minute you get to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the city, overlooking the skyline with the castle, Princess Street, the Balmoral Hotel and the Fourth of Five.
Within five minutes you walk to Waverly Train Station and Princess Street and within 10 minutes you get to Hollyrood Palace, the castle and onto the Royal Mile.

The apartment hath three bedrooms and a box room plus kitchen, lounge, bathroom and spacious hallway (120 sqm in total). Wonderful view to the north.

The sitting room
The sitting room has been decorated on a 'Georgian club' feel, with rich burgundy walls and luxurious teak and green leather sofa and armchairs. It features a modern entertainment centre including digital television, DVD and sound system.

The kitchen features a cast-iron Rayburn cooker and a electrical cooker, hand-wrought hardwood counters and kitchen table, and a collection of good quality utensils. Modern appliances, such as the microwave oven, large refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher have been tastefully concealed giving the kitchen a real 'farmhouse' kitchen feel in the middle of the city.
The bedrooms are comfortably appointed with good linens and necessities:

Die Wohnung ist in der Mitte von Edinburgh direkt neben Waverley Station. Sie erreichen jeden Punkt innerhalb weniger Minuten. Das Haus ist gemütlich und hat schöne Zimmer. Ich contactet Gordon einmal über die Wohnung und bekam eine Antwort fast sofort. Ich freue mich schon auf einen weiteren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Wohnung.

Wir haben eine urgemütliche Wohnung in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Princess Street angetroffen. Der besondere Charme der Unterkunft spiegelte das entspannte Leben in Edinburgh wider. Es wird nicht das letzte mal gewesen sein.

Eine sehr gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit persönlichem Touch. Unglaublich günstige, zentrale Lage, aber vollkommen ruhig. Wir (zwei Erwachsene, zwei größere Kinder) haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Gerne kommen wir wieder nach Edinburgh und gerade hierhin zurück.

I really can recommend this flat. It was very silent but in the middle of the town. We took the bus only when we visited the royal yacht "Britannia", on all other days we just walked. Great!

Stayed in this flat in Feb' 12; we were a party of 2 adults and 4 children, and it suited perfectly. The flat itself is generously proportioned, well furnished and the view is great. It is SO close to the centre I couldn't believe our luck. Station, restaurants, cinema, shops and Tesco Express & Sainsburys Local are all within a 5 min walk. The host uses an agent, but he was very accommodating.. even lending an iPhone charger. I really couldn't praise this apartment enough!

I loved it, it was brilliant. The place was clean and very close to the station which was handy as well as the nearby shops. The place was so beautiful that people walking pass kept stopping to take pictures. I was also close to a nearby park and our Host was lovely and met us on the day we arrived.
